Common questions about Waves
What are managed AI agents?
"Managed AI agents" are AI agents you do not have to operate yourself: the platform runs every AI agent in isolation for you. You decide what the AI agent should do and which AI model it uses. Waterglass Waves brings that concept to Europe, with free choice of AI model and EU data residency.
Which AI models can I use?
Currently models by Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), Mistral, DeepSeek, z.ai (GLM) and Moonshot (Kimi). You choose the model per AI agent and can switch anytime. Every model states in the console where it is processed. New models are added continuously.
Where is my data processed?
The platform runs in the Nuremberg data center, so compute and data residency are within the EU. For AI models, Waves shows the processing location per model rather than only the provider's home country, and you decide which model an AI agent may use.
How does Waves compare to Claude Managed Agents?
In Waves you choose the AI model to suit you: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, z.ai and Moonshot, and 16 of the 19 models are processed in the European Union. "Claude Managed Agents" use Anthropic models only. Processing in Waves sits in the Nuremberg data center, and your contracting entity is Waterglass in Austria. Can I adjust my AI agents myself?
Yes, your AI agents are versioned and you edit them directly in the console (for example as a YAML definition) or through the REST API. On the "Managed" plan we build the AI agents your company needs and manage them for you.
How safe are our credentials?
Credentials live in vaults and are encrypted (AES-256-GCM). Values are write-only and never appear in any log. Console access can be protected by two-factor authentication, and API keys are shown once and stored hashed.
Can Waves be used in a GDPR-compliant way?
Your data is processed on European infrastructure, in isolated execution with allow-lists and a record of every action. Depending on which AI model you choose, Waves can therefore be used in a GDPR-compliant way.
What does Waves cost?
"Basic" is €29 per month net and includes €5 of token credit every month. Usage beyond that is paid out of prepaid credit, by credit card. "Managed" starts at €199 per month net and is billed directly by invoice. VAT is added at checkout and follows your billing address.
How does the credit work?
The console shows usage and cost per day. The monthly credit from your subscription is valid until the end of the billing period; credit you bought never expires and is spent after the monthly credit. The €10 of starter credit is available once per organisation, as soon as a payment method is saved – no subscription needed, and your card is not charged (valid for 90 days). Auto-recharge is off by default. If you turn it on, you set the threshold and the limit yourself, at most €250 per recharge and five recharges per day.
Can I try Waves for free?
Yes. You can sign up yourself and start in the console right away. As soon as you add a payment method, you receive €10 of starter credit, once – no subscription needed, and your card is not charged (valid for 90 days). That is enough to build and test your first AI agents. For more credit after that you need a subscription. If you would rather build your AI agents together with us, "Managed" includes a personal introduction. We set up your organisation and define the first AI agents together with your team.
